Notifications

Mythradon supports a number of different features for both In-app and Email notifications.

To access the Notification Administration:

  • Select Administration | Notifications from the Menu Button

Properties

Property Description
IN-APP NOTIFICATIONS
Entities to notify about upon assignment Entities that In-app Notifications is enabled for ownership assignment notification. These notifications will be displayed in the Notification Centre. Unread notifications will also be sent as a Push Notification if Push Notifications is enabled.
Display new notification number in page title Controls if the number of new notifications is displayed in page titles.
EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS
Notifications upon assignment Controls if a notification email is sent when a record is assigned to someone.
Assignment email notifications scopes Entities that Email Notifications is enabled for ownership assignment notification.
Send email notifications about mentions in posts Controls if email notifications are sent to Users that are mentioned in a Stream Post using the @username notation.
Notifications about updates in Stream for internal users Internals Users will receive email notifications about updates in Stream.
Notifications about updates in Stream for portal users Portal Users will receive email notifications about updates in Stream.
Stream email notifications scopes Users will receive email notifications about Stream updates of followed records for the specific Entity Types defined in this property.
What to notify about What to notify about? Available options:
  • Posts
  • Status Updates
  • Received emails

Delay of email notifications (in seconds) A message can be edited within the specified timeframe before the notification is sent.

In-app Notifications

In-app Notifications appear in the Notification Centre. Notifications are posted to the User that is assigned ownership of the record of Entities that are being monitored.

Email Notifications

As the name suggests Email Notifications refers to the system automatically sending an email containing details of the change to a record or Stream that Users that are either following, assigned ownership or @mentioned in a Stream.

The Email Notification can be modified in the Mythradon Template Manager.
