User Preferences¶

Mythradon User Preferences provide a series of settings that each User can set to override the default system settings to make the system more suitable to their likes.

Select Preferences from the Menu Button
Set the User's Preferences as required
Click the 'Save' button

User Preferences

Preference Fields

Field	Description
LOCALE
Date Format	Options for various date formats. i.e.) DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY etc.
Time zone	User's preferred time zone. This is used to adjust how date/time values are displayed to the User.
Time Format	Options for various time formats. i.e.) HH:mm, hh:mm A etc.
First Day of Week	Option to set the first day of the week. i.e.) Sunday, Monday.
Default Currency	User's default currency.
Thousand Separator	User's preferred character to use for separating thousands in large numbers. i.e.) ','.
Decimal Mark	User's preferred character to use for separating decimals. i.e.) '.'.
Language	User's preferred language to display the application labels, menus, place holder and hint text.
MISC
Export Delimiter	User's preferred field delimiter when exporting data. Default is a comma, but sometimes you may need to override this.
Global Auto-Follow	Automatically follow ALL new records (created by any user) of the selected entity types. To be able to see information in the stream and receive notifications about all records in the system.
Email Signature	User's preferred Email Signature. Field support rich text formatting.
Default Reminders	User's preferred reminder channel. i.e.) In-application Popup dialog or Email. Also allows for the reminder time. i.e.) 15 mins before.
Email Reply to all by Default	Controls if replying to emails will automatically reply to 'All' email addresses in the source email.
Do not pre-fill assigned user on record creation	Controls if the 'Assigned User' field is automatically populated on record creation.
Email Reply in HTML	Controls if reply emails are automatically using the rich text editor.
Auto-follow record after posting in Stream	Controls if the User will be set to automatically 'Follow' a record after posting a message in the record's 'Stream'.
Use an external email client	Controls if the User will use the machine default external email client.
Auto-follow created records of specific entity types	When create new records of selected entity types, they will be followed automatically even if assigned to another user.
USER INTERFACE
Theme	User's preferred application theme. This sets the colour and position of the menu. Refer to Theme Samples.
Disable scope colours	Enable/disable the colours being displayed on the menu item/tab icons.
Disable tab colours	Enable/disable the colours being displayed on the menu item/tab icons.
Custom Tab List	Enable the 'Custom Tab List' option and then add and arrange the menu tabs as per the User's preference.
Dashboard Layout	User's preferred Home Page Dashboard Layout. Settings here will override the system default setting.
NOTIFICATION
Notifications	User's preferred in-app assignment notifications. Options are: Meetings Calls Tasks Emails

Note: All Date/time values are physically stored in UTC +/-00:00. The User's time zone preference is used to adjust the date/time value that is displayed for them.

For example: Two Users viewing the same record. User 1 is using the 'Australia/Melbourne' time zone and User 2 using the 'Australia/Perth' time zone. The Users will see the date/time value displayed 3 hour different when not daylight saving time and 2 hours different during daylight saving time.
