Payments

Payments are specifically made in relation to Sales Invoices or Purchase Invoices. In most cases, there will likely be only one Payment associated with an invoice.

In Mythradon, you have the flexibility to make multiple payments for a single invoice. Additionally, it is possible to process refunds for payments on Sales Invoices. For more details on refunds, please consult the information provided in the Refunds section.

Note: Mythradon does not have the capability to associate a single payment with multiple invoices. Each payment can only be linked to a single invoice. However, an invoice in Mythradon has the ability to have one or more payments associated with it.

Creating a Payment

Payments are made specifically from the sales or purchase invoice that they are intended to pay.

  • Select the Sales Invoices or Purchase Invoices tab from the main menu. You will be presented with a list of Invoices.
  • Select the appropriate Invoice that you wish to pay
  • Press the + symbol on the Payments list
  • Enter the appropriate fields on the Payment and press the Save button.

Payment Fields

Property Description
Name A user-friendly name of the payment. entity.
Method Payment method, it can be Cash, Bank Deposit, Credit Card or Debit Card.
Status By default, the status of a payment is set to Processed. However, the available options for this field depend on the selected payment method. For Credit and Debit card payments, the status can be changed to either Error or Charge Back.
Invoice Link to the Sales or Purchase invoice.
Amount Paid The amount paid in the payment. Partial payment is allowed, however, this amount must be greater than 0 and small than the outstanding amount of the linked invoice.
Reference Any internal or external reference.
Paid At Timestamp when the payment is made.
Notes Any related notes.
