Contract Reminder Templates

Mythradon Contract Reminders allow you to automatically generate and send SMS or email notifications to relevant parties when important contract-related dates are approaching. These reminders are triggered by the upcoming contract expiry dates. By using predefined templates, your organisation can ensure consistent, timely communication that helps maintain compliance, reduce risk, and support proactive contract management.

Each contract can be set up with multiple reminders, each using a different predefined template. These reminders can be configured to trigger at different intervals and sent automatically to various recipients, including the Contract Assigned User, Internal or External Signing Parties. This flexibility ensures that all stakeholders remain informed and accountable throughout the contract lifecycle, helping prevent missed deadlines and ensuring timely action on critical contract events.


Creating a Contract Reminder

Contract Reminders in Mythradon are used to automatically notify relevant parties before a contract expires. Each reminder uses a predefined template (Email or SMS) and is scheduled based on either a fixed date or a calculated offset from the contract's end date.

Steps to Create a New Contract Reminder

To add a new reminder to a contract:

  1. Navigate to Contracts from the main menu
  2. Locate and open the contract record for which you want to create the reminder
  3. In the Reminders section, click the + button to add a new reminder
  4. Enter a name for the reminder (for internal reference)
  5. Select the reminder type: Email or SMS
  6. Complete the remaining fields based on the selected type
  7. Click Save to activate the reminder

Contract Reminder Fields

Field Description
Name A descriptive, user-friendly name to identify the reminder.
Status Indicates the current processing state of the reminder (e.g., Draft, Scheduled, Sent).
Type Determines the delivery format: Email or SMS.
Who Specifies the recipient(s) of the reminder message.
Contract Reminder Template The predefined template used to generate the reminder content.
When Specifies how the reminder should be scheduled: Fixed Date or Based on Contract End Date.
Reminder Date The exact date to send the reminder. Only applicable when Fixed Date is selected.
Days Before Contract End Date Number of days prior to the contract end date when the reminder should be sent. Common options include: 1–7, 14, 21, 28, or 30.

Reminder Type

Once you select the Reminder Type (Email or SMS), it cannot be changed. If you select the wrong type, simply cancel the reminder and create a new one with the correct type.

Automated Processing

Contract Reminders are automatically processed and sent by the Contract Reminder Scheduled Job.
Ensure the scheduled job is active to allow reminders to be sent at the correct time.
