PWA Installation on iPad

Overview

In order to install Mythradon as a Progressive Web Application (PWA) on an iPad complete the following instructions:

  • Open the Safari browser
  • Navigate to your Mythradon URL

  • Click the iPad Download button and select Add to Home Screen

iPad Install 2 - Light iPad Install 2 - Dark

  • Confirm that you wish to install Mythradon as a PWA by pressing the Add button

iPad Install 3 - Light iPad Install 3 - Dark

  • You will now find an icon on your iPad home screen for launching Mythradon

iPad Install 4 - Light iPad Install 4 - Dark

  • Clicking the Mythradon icon will launch your application. Note that it is not displayed in Safari and therefore does not show the URL Address bar.

Note

The icon used can be changed by your System Administrator in the Mythradon PWA settings.

iPad Install 5 - Light iPad Install 5 - Dark

  • Once you have entered your Username and Password they can automatically be remembered by the iPad so you do not need to re-enter them each time you wish to use Mythradon.

Note

Although other browsers such as Google Chrome are available on an iPad, they do not support PWA installations. You must use the Safari browser.
