Warehouse Management¶

Mythradon's Warehouse & Stock Management application is a comprehensive solution for managing stock across multiple warehouses, adhering to best practices for efficient stock control. It maintains immutable logs to track stock movements between warehouses, providing complete visibility into your inventory. Integrated seamlessly with Mythradon Invoices, this application ensures that stock quantities are automatically adjusted upon sales, streamlining the process and helping maintain accurate inventory records. With support for multiple locations and detailed stock tracking, it's an invaluable tool for businesses seeking effective stock management across various warehouses.

Warehouse Management is included in the Warehouse & Stock Control app, which must be purchased separately.

What is a warehouse?¶

A Warehouse in Mythradon's Warehouse & Stock Management application represents a physical location where stock is stored. Each warehouse record includes key details to help organise and manage inventory across multiple locations effectively.

Every warehouse record captures:

Descriptive Name – A user-friendly name to easily identify the warehouse.
Address – The physical location where the stock is held.
Status – Indicates whether the warehouse is active, inactive, or otherwise unavailable for stock operations.

Warehouses form the backbone of your stock management structure, allowing you to track and control inventory with precision across all your business locations. Whether you're managing a single storage facility or a network of distribution centers, Mythradon ensures that every warehouse is clearly defined and fully integrated into your stock control processes.

Create a new Warehouse¶

From the Warehouse List view, click the Create Warehouse button.

Create New Warehouse - Light Create New Warehouse - Dark

Mandatory fields will be identified with an asterisk. i.e., the Name field.

Click the Save button to save the new Account record.

Warehouse Fields

Field	Description
Name	Descriptive name of the warehouse.
Status	Current status of the warehouse.
Street	The Warehouse's Street Address.
City	The Warehouse's address City/Suburb.
State	The Warehouse's address State.
Postal Code	The Warehouse's address Postal Code.
Country	The Warehouse's address Country.
Description	General description allowing you to record other relevant information about the Warehouse.

Edit a Warehouse¶

From the Warehouse List view, click on the Warehouse Name field to display the details of the selected Warehouse.

From here you view the details of the Warehouse and see the related Stock, Stock Transactions, and Delivery Regions.

You can either edit the complete record by pressing the Edit button or individual fields with Mythradon's in-line editing feature.

Search for a Warehouse¶

From the Warehouse List you can quickly search for the Warehouse that you are looking for using the search box. This will allow you to filter the list of Warehouses by the name or part of the Warehouse name.

The Search box supports partial name matching and the use of wild cards in the form of an asterisk as shown above.
