Product Management¶

Overview¶

Mythradon includes a built-in Product Catalog that lets you define and manage the full range of products and services your organisation offers.

You can create and maintain detailed product records, including pricing, descriptions, and product codes. These items can then be easily selected when generating Quotes, creating Sales Invoices, or integrating with other sales and billing processes.

Managing your catalog within Mythradon ensures consistency across departments, improves sales accuracy, and streamlines quoting and invoicing workflows.

Managing Products¶

To access your products, navigate to the main menu and click on the Products tab. This will display a comprehensive list of all the products you have defined.

From this point, you have the option to swiftly search for and modify existing products. Alternatively, you can click on the Create Product button to enter details for a new product or service.

To simplify the process of setting up Products and Services our pricing is included in the definition of each Product or Service

Product Fields¶

Field	Description
Name	Name of the Product or Service. This name will appear on search lists and printed Quotes and Sales Invoices.
Type	Type of Product or Service. Valid options are: Physical Service Digital .
Tax	Tax Classification for the Product or Service.
Status	Status of the Product or Service. Valid options are: Draft Available Not Available Back Order .
Start Date	Date when the Product or Service is available from.
End Date	Date when the Product or Service is no longer available.
Cost Price Ex Tax	Cost Price (Your Cost) for a single instance of the Product or Service exclusive of taxes.
List Price Ex Tax	List Price (Your List Price) for a single instance of the Product or Service exclusive of taxes.
RRP Ex Tax	The manufacturer's suggested/recommended retail price for a single instance of the Product or Service exclusive of taxes.
Product Category	The Product Category is used to help categorise a Product or Service.
Brand	The Brand of the Product.
Manufacturer	The Manufacturer of the Product. The Manufacturer of the Product is defined as an Account.
Description	General description of the Product or Service.
Styled Description	Rich text description of the Product or Service used for print outs and website pages.

Product Resources¶

Mythradon support the ability to relate other resources to the details of a Product. These include images and documents.

Manage Product Categories¶

To help manage your Products and Services you can assign them to a Product Category. Product Categories are managed by a separate menu option.

Select the Product Categories tab from the main menu. You will be presented with a list of all your product categories.

From here you can quickly search for and update existing product categories or click the Create Product Category button to enter a new product category.

Manage Product Brands¶

Product branding helps customers determine key differences between one product and another.

Select the Brands tab from the main menu. You will be presented with a list of all your brands.

From here you can quickly search for and update existing brands or click the Create Brand button to enter a new brand.
