System Settings

Overview

System Settings provide access to configurable options that define how core functionality behaves across Mythradon. These settings let administrators tailor the system to meet specific operational needs, ensuring consistency and control across the platform.

To access System Settings:

  1. Navigate to Administration → Settings from the Menu Button.
  2. Use the interface to view, update, or manage key configuration values related to the system's behaviour.

Changes made here affect the global environment, so it's recommended that only users with appropriate administrative permissions modify these settings.

Settings

The following settings allow System Administrators to control how Mythradon works for your organisation.

System Settings

Setting Description
Use Cache Improves system performance when enabled by caching picklist values in the local browser. Not recommended to disable, unless for development purposes
Site URL A URL of this Mythradon instance. You need to change it if you move to another domain.
Maintenance Mode Controls if only System Administrators will have access to the system.
Disable Cron Disable Cron to prevent Scheduled Jobs from running.
Use WebSockets WebSocket enables two-way interactive communication between a server and a browser. Requires setting up the WebSocket daemon on your server.

Search Settings

Setting Description
SEARCH
Use 'contains' operator when filtering varchar fields If not checked then 'starts with' operator is used. You can use the wildcard '%'.
Global Search Entity List What records can be searched with Global Search.

Miscellaneous Settings

Setting Description
Follow created records Users will automatically follow records they created.
Mark new email addresses as opted-out When creating new record email address will be marked as opted-out.
Allow to remove created records Users will be able to remove records they created even if they don't have a delete access.
Clean up deleted records Removed records will be deleted from database after a while.
Disable Export (only admin is allowed) Users won't be able to export records. Only admin will be allowed.
B2C Mode By default Mythradon is adapted for B2B. You can switch it to B2C.

Locale Settings

Setting Description
Language Default language to display the application labels, menus, place holder and hint text. Supported languages.
Time zone Default system time zone. This is used to adjust how date/time values are displayed to the User.
Date Format Default format for displaying dates. i.e., DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY etc
First Day of Week Default first day of the week. i.e., Sunday, Monday
Time Format Default format for displaying times. i.e., HH:mm, hh:mm A etc
Thousand Separator Default character to use for separating thousands in large numbers. i.e., ','
Fiscal Year Start Month of the Fiscal Year Start
Decimal Mark Default character to use for separating decimals. i.e., '.'
Person Name Format Default format for Person's Name
Address Format Controls the format that addresses will be displayed. Different countries display addresses in different format. Options:

Address Format 3

Address Format 4
Street

Country - State PostalCode
Address Country Autocomplete List Country suggestions for address Country fields.
Address City Autocomplete List City suggestions for address City fields.
Address State Autocomplete List State suggestions for address State fields.

Activity Settings

Setting Description
Calendar Entry List Controls what records will be available in the Calendar.
Activities Entry List Controls what records will be available in the Activities panel.
Free/Busy Entity List Controls what will be taken into account when showing busy time ranges in scheduler & timeline.
History Entity List Controls what records will be available in the History panel.
Working Time Calendar A working time calendar that will be applied to all users by default.

Attachment Settings

Setting Description
Upload Max Size The maximum file size that can be uploaded in Mb.
Upload Chunk Size The maximum chunk size that files can be uploaded in Mb.

Supported Languages

Mythradon is designed for global teams, with multilingual support that ensures a seamless experience no matter where you're located.

Users can personalise their experience by selecting their preferred language from their User Preferences. Additionally, System Administrators can define the organisation's default language using the System Locale Settings.
