User Preferences

Overview

The User Preferences section in Mythradon allows each user to customise their experience by overriding default system settings. These settings help tailor the application to personal preferences such as date format, language, notifications, and interface layout.

Accessing User Preferences

  • Select Preferences from the Menu Button
  • Set the User's Preferences as required
  • Click the Save button

Preference Fields

Locale Settings
Field Description
Date Format Choose how dates are displayed (e.g. DD/MM/YYYY, MM/DD/YYYY).
Time zone Sets your local time zone. Used to display date/time values correctly.
Time Format Choose 12-hour or 24-hour time display (e.g. HH:mm, hh:mm A).
First Day of Week Select the start day of the calendar week (e.g. Sunday or Monday).
Default Currency Your preferred default currency.
Thousand Separator Symbol used to separate thousands in large numbers (e.g. ,).
Decimal Mark Symbol used for decimal points (e.g. .).
Language Choose the language for the interface, including menus and labels.
Miscellaneous Settings
Field Description
Export Delimiter Character used to separate fields when exporting data (e.g. comma or semicolon).
Global Auto-Follow Automatically follow ALL new records (created by any user) of the selected entity types. To be able to see information in the stream and receive notifications about all records in the system.
Email Signature Customise your email signature (supports rich text formatting).
Default Reminders Set how and when you receive reminders (e.g. email or in-app, 15 minutes before).
Email Reply to all by default If enabled, email replies will default to 'Reply All'.
Do not pre-fill assigned user on record creation Prevent the 'Assigned User' field from auto-populating when creating new records.
Email Reply in HTML Enable rich text formatting for email replies.
Auto-follow record after posting in Stream Automatically follow a record after posting in its activity stream.
Use an external email client Choose to send emails using your default desktop email client instead of the built-in client.
Auto-follow created records Automatically follow newly created records even if assigned to another user.
Auto-follow created records of specific entity types Automatically follow newly created records of selected types, regardless of who they're assigned to.
User Interface Settings
Field Description
Theme User's preferred application theme. This sets the colour and position of the menu. Refer to Theme Samples.
Disable scope colours Enable/disable the colours being displayed on the menu item/tab icons.
Disable tab colours Enable/disable the colours being displayed on the menu item/tab icons.
Custom Tab List Enable the 'Custom Tab List' option and then add and arrange the menu tabs as per the User's preference.
Dashboard Layout User's preferred Home Page Dashboard Layout. Settings here will override the system default setting.
Notification Settings
Field Description
In-app assignment notifications Choose which in-app assignment notifications to receive:

  • Meetings
  • Calls
  • Tasks
  • Emails
Push Notification Status for this Browser/App Click Subscribe to enable push notifications in your current browser or app. Once subscribed, options to Unsubscribe and Test Notifications will be available.
Fallback to SMS If no active push subscription is found, notifications will be sent via SMS—provided a valid mobile number is saved in your user profile and an SMS Gateway is configured. Learn how to set up SMS.
Suppressed Push Notification Types Choose which types of push notifications you do not want to receive:
  • Record Assignment
  • Mention in Post
  • Post
  • Status Update

Note

All date/time values in the system are stored in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC +00:00). The Time Zone preference adjusts how these values are displayed to you.

Example:

Two users viewing the same record:

  • User 1 (Time Zone: Australia/Melbourne)
  • User 2 (Time Zone: Australia/Perth)

They will see the same timestamp displayed with a 2–3 hour difference, depending on daylight saving time.
