Time Log

The Mythradon Time Log application enables users to log time directly against key records within the system. By default, it supports the following entity types:

  • Campaign
  • Case
  • Opportunity
  • Task
  • Lead

Designed with support managers in mind, the Time Log application offers valuable insights into the actual time spent on customer service activities—particularly within Cases. It accurately tracks and logs time associated with each Case, storing this data alongside the corresponding records. This allows for precise time management, improved resource allocation, and detailed performance analysis across support operations.

Note

The Mythradon Time Log application is optional and must be purchased separately. Once the purchase is complete, Mythradon will install the Time Log application in your environment.

Using the Time Log

The Time Log is very easy to use, simply navigate to the required record that you wish to record time against and click the Start Time Log button. This will automatically start a timer for the selected record. Once the task has been completed click the Stop Time Log button.

Note

A user can only have one active time log at a time. They must stop logging time on the current record before starting a new one.

View Current Time Log

Each user can view the time entries associated with a record by clicking the View Time Log button. This opens a detailed view displaying the time logged by all users, along with a pie chart that visually summarises the total time contributed by each user.

Time Log Roles

Access to Timelog functionality is managed through Role Management. The Mythradon Timelog app includes two predefined system roles that can be assigned to users to control their access:

  • Time Log Admin - System Managed: Grants full administrative access to all Timelog features, including user logs, settings, and reporting tools.
  • Time Log User Access - System Managed: Provides standard access for users to view and manage their own time logs.

Alternatively, for more granular control, you can enable or disable Timelog access for any custom role by adding or removing the Time Logs permission scope.

Enabling Timelog on Additional Entities

By default, the Mythradon Timelog application is enabled for the following record types:

  • Campaign
  • Case
  • Opportunity
  • Task
  • Lead

However, it is possible to extend Timelog functionality to additional parent entities as needed.
