Managing Users

Overview

In Mythradon a User refers to a person who can log into the system. This is generally an employee or a contractor of your organisation.

Partners and Customers can also be setup to access Mythradon, however they are generally setup as Portal Users. Refer to Portal Setup for further details.

To manage Users:

This displays the User List View. From here you can manage your Users.


Creating Users

  • Select Administration → Users from the Menu Button
  • Press the Create User button and fill in the appropriate fields

Note

There will be an option at the bottom of the form to send an email to the new User

User Properties

Overview

Property Description
Username The login name required for access to Mythradon. Typically in email format. This can be updated after account creation if needed.
Salutation A formal greeting or title for the User, such as Mr, Mrs, Ms, Dr, etc.
First Name The User’s given name.
Last Name The User’s family or surname.
Title The User’s professional or job title.
Email One or more email addresses associated with the User. Multiple addresses can be entered if needed.
Phone One or more contact phone numbers for the User.
Gender The User’s gender or sex designation.

Teams and Access Control

Property Description
Type Indicates whether the User is a System Administrator or a Regular User, affecting their access and permissions.
Is Active A toggle to enable or disable the User’s system access. Only active Users can log in.
Teams A multi-select field used to assign the User to one or more Teams. Teams help organize users by function or department.
Default Team The primary team that the User is most commonly associated with.
Roles A multi-select field for assigning Roles to the User. Roles control access to features and data within the system.

Password Settings

Property Description
Password The User’s password for accessing Mythradon. This is only entered when the User is created or when resetting the password.
Confirm Password A repeat entry to verify the accuracy of the new password during setup or reset.

Note

When creating a new User the system can generate a random password for the User. The User and the System Administrator have the ability to reset the User's password.


User Default Permissions

By default, users have minimal access. You need to assign Roles to grant users specific access levels.

It's possible to see what permissions are applied to a certain user by clicking Access button on the user's detail view.

Seeing User Access

To quickly view what access the current user has, click the Access button towards the the top left of the screen.
