Creating and Modifying Dashboards

Dashboards in Mythradon are displayed on the Home Page tab available on the main menu. This is the default page that is loaded when a user logs into Mythradon.

The Dashboards are used to display a series of different dashlets across multiple pages.

All internal users can manage their own dashboards: add or remove dashlets and tabs, edit dashlet options.

System Administrators can edit the dashboards of other users. On the User detail view, click Preferences from the dropdown at the top-right corner. There, you can find Dashboard Layout.

Users can reset their dashboard layout to the default. On Preferences edit view, click Reset Dashboard to Default from the dropdown next to the Edit button. Admin can reset dashboards of other users.

  • Select the Home page/tab from the Main Menu
  • Add the required Pages and Dashlets by clicking the Edit Dashboard or Add Dashlet icons in the top right corner of the Home Page.
  • For Dashlets - Drag and Drop to the required position and size
  • When modifying the Dashboard directly on the Home Page the changes are automatically saved

There are two buttons on the dashboard 'Home Page'.

  • - Edit Dashboard (Add and remove pages from the Dashboard)
  • ➕ - Add Dashlets to the current Dashboard page

Managing Pages

Click the Edit Dashboard icon to managing the pages on your dashboard.

From this list you can:

  • Add and remove pages
  • Change labels on page tabs
  • Set the page tab order

Click the Save button to store your changes. These will be reflected on the dashboard immediately.

Note

If you only have a single page in your dashboard the page tab label is not displayed. The page tab labels will only be displayed if there is more than one page in the dashboard.

Managing Dashlets

  • Select the Page Tab that you wish to add dashlets to
  • Click the Add Dashlet button
  • Select the required dashlet type from the list of Dashlet Types
  • Set any required Dashlet Properties
  • Size the Dashlet on the page as required

No need to click any Save button as your dashlet changes are saved automatically once set.

Calendar Used to display a Calendar Dashlet. Supports various modes: Day, Week, Month etc.
HTML Used to display HTML in a Dashlet. Supports HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
IFrame Renders as a HTML iFrame and allows you to display external web pages within a Mythradon Dashboard.
Invoice Lists issued invoices by due date descending.
My Activities Used to display a list of Activities that are visible to the current User.
My Calls Used to display a list of Calls that are visible to the current User.
My Cases Used to display a list of Cases that are visible to the current User.
My Inbox Used to display the Email Inbox of the current User.
My Leads Used to display a list of Leads that are visible to the current User.
My Meetings Used to display a list of Meetings that are visible to the current User.
My Opportunities Used to display a list of Opportunities that are visible to the current User.
My Tasks Used to display a list of Tasks that are visible to the current User.
Opportunities by Lead Source Used to display a pie chart of forecasted Opportunity revenue grouped in slices by lead source.
Opportunities by Stage Used to display a horizontal bar chart of forecasted Opportunity revenue grouped by sales stage.
Record List Used to display a list of records from an entity of your choice. Allows you to apply any filters defined for the entity selected.
Rich Text Used to display any form of Rich Text. This is an easy to use alternative to the HTML dashlet.
Sales by Month Used to display a bar chart for each month showing the amount of revenue from Closed Opportunities.
Sales Pipeline Used to display a funnel type chart showing the amount of forecasted revenue from sales Opportunities grouped by the Opportunity Sales Stage.
Stream Used to display a list of Stream records that are relevant to the current User.


Calendar Dashlet

The Calendar Dashlet displays a customisable calendar or timeline on your home page dashboard. You can configure it to show different types of events in a variety of formats, with optional auto-refreshing.

Property Description
Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.
Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:
  • None
  • 30 Seconds
  • 1 Minute
  • 2 Minutes
  • 5 Minutes
  • 10 Minutes
Mode Select the calendar view format. Options include:
  • Week
  • Week (Agenda)
  • Timeline
  • Month
  • Day
  • Day (Agenda)
What to display Choose the types of items to appear in the calendar. Options include:
  • Meetings
  • Calls
  • Tasks
Teams Specify which team's calendar data should be shown.

HTML Dashlet

The HTML Dashlet lets you embed custom HTML and CSS to create visually rich or purpose-specific dashlets on your dashboard.

Properties

Property Description
Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.
HTML The custom HTML to be rendered. You may also include inline CSS and JavaScript as needed.

IFrame Dashlet

The IFrame Dashlet allows you to embed content from an external web page directly into your dashboard using an iframe.

Properties

Property Description
Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.
URL The web address of the page you want to display within the iframe.
Auto-refresh interval Controls the time interval for automatically refreshing the record list. Available options:
  • None
  • 30 Seconds
  • 1 Minute
  • 2 Minutes
  • 5 Minutes
  • 10 Minutes

Note

The external web page must allow itself to be displayed in an iframe. If it has restrictions (e.g., X-Frame-Options or Content-Security-Policy headers), the dashlet may not render the content.


Invoice Dashlet

The Invoice Dashlet displays a list of invoices with the status Issued, allowing users to monitor outstanding or recently issued invoices directly from the dashboard.

Display Records Specifies the number of invoice records to display in the list.
Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:

Layout Defines which fields are shown in the list and in what order.

My Activities Dashlet

The My Activities Dashlet displays a list of upcoming or scheduled activities—such as meetings, calls, and tasks—that are assigned to the current user.

Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:
  • None
  • 30 Seconds
  • 1 Minute
  • 2 Minutes
  • 5 Minutes

Display Records Sets the maximum number of activity records to show in the list.
What to display Filters the types of activities to include. Options:
  • Meetings
  • Calls
  • Tasks
Next X Days Defines the time window (from today) to include upcoming activities.

My Calls Dashlet

The My Calls Dashlet displays a list of upcoming call activities assigned to the current user. Only calls with a start date later than the current system date are shown.

Property Description
Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.
Display Records Sets the number of upcoming call records to display.
Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:
  • None
  • 30 Seconds
  • 1 Minute
  • 2 Minutes
  • 5 Minutes
  • 10 Minutes
Layout Defines which fields are shown in the list and their order.

My Cases Dashlet

The My Cases Dashlet displays a list of open cases currently assigned to the logged-in user.

My Inbox Dashlet

The My Inbox Dashlet displays a list of emails from the logged-in user's inbox, providing quick access to recent messages directly from the dashboard.

Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:

My Leads Dashlet

The My Leads Dashlet displays a list of Leads assigned to the current user, making it easy to manage and follow up directly from the dashboard.

My Meetings Dashlet

The My Meetings Dashlet displays a list of upcoming Meetings where the current user is a participant, helping users stay on top of their scheduled events.

Properties

Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.
Display Records Specifies how many meeting records are shown in the list.
Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:
  • None
  • 30 Seconds

My Opportunities Dashlet

The My Opportunities Dashlet displays a list of open Opportunities assigned to the current user. Opportunities marked as Closed Won or Closed Lost are excluded from the list.

Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:

My Tasks Dashlet

The My Tasks Dashlet displays a list of Tasks assigned to the current user. Only tasks that are not marked as Completed or Cancelled are shown.

Opportunities by Lead Source Dashlet

The Opportunities by Lead Source Dashlet presents a pie chart showing the total expected revenue from sales opportunities, grouped by their lead source.

  • Current Year
  • Current Quarter
  • Current Month
  • Current Fiscal Year
  • Current Fiscal Quarter

Opportunities by Stage Dashlet

The Opportunities by Stage Dashlet displays a horizontal bar chart summarizing the total expected revenue from sales opportunities, grouped by their sales stage.

Record List Dashlet

The Record List Dashlet presents a configurable list of records from a selected entity. You can define filters, sort order, layout, and set an auto-refresh interval to keep the list updated.

Properties

Property Description
Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.
Entity Type The entity from which records will be sourced.
Primary Filter The core filter applied to determine which records are displayed in the dashlet. It must be one of the predefined Primary Filters available in the entity's list view configuration. These filters typically represent saved views or commonly used criteria.
Order (Field) The field used to sort the records.
Additional Filters Optional secondary filters that further refine the results returned by the Primary Filter. Common options include:
  • Only My – shows only records assigned to the current user
  • Followed – shows only records the user is following

If the entity includes Boolean fields, these may also appear as additional filter options.
Order (Direction) Specifies the sort direction:
  • Ascending
  • Descending
Display Records Defines how many records to show in the list.
Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:
  • None
  • 30 Seconds
  • 1 Minute
  • 2 Minutes
  • 5 Minutes
  • 10 Minutes
Layout Determines which fields are displayed and in what order.

The following is an example of a Record List Dashlet using the Account entity.

Rich Text Dashlet

The Rich Text Dashlet lets you display custom HTML content using a user-friendly rich text editor. Unlike the HTML Dashlet, this option doesn't require HTML knowledge, making it ideal for users who prefer a visual editing experience.

Properties

Property Description
Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.
Rich Text The formatted content displayed in the dashlet, created using the rich text editor.

Note

When configuring this dashlet as an admin for other users, avoid uploading images directly via the editor. Instead, use an HTML <img> tag with a publicly accessible URL, as uploaded images may not be visible to other users.

Sales by Month Dashlet

The Sales by Month Dashlet visualizes the monthly revenue generated from Closed Opportunities in a bar chart format.

Properties

Property Description
Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.

  • Current Quarter
  • Current Month
  • Current Fiscal Year
  • Current Fiscal Quarter
  • Ever

Sales Pipeline Dashlet

The Sales Pipeline Dashlet presents a funnel-style chart that displays the forecasted revenue from sales Opportunities, categorised by their respective Opportunity Sales Stages.

This chart is also helpful for identifying areas within the sales process that may need attention or improvement.

Title The name displayed at the top of the dashlet.
Date Filter Date range filter. Available options are:
  • Current Year
  • Current Quarter
  • Current Month
  • Current Fiscal Year

Group by last reached stage Option to group sales opportunity revenue by the last sales stage reached.
Team Defines which team's Opportunities to include in the Sales Pipeline.

Stream Dashlet

The Stream Dashlet shows a list of Stream records that are visible to the current user. You can customise whether to include Stream records created by actions linked to the current user.

Display Records Controls the number of Stream records to display in the list.
Auto-refresh interval Sets how often the dashlet automatically refreshes. Options include:
  • None
  • 30 Seconds
  • 1 Minute
  • 2 Minutes

  • 10 Minutes
Don't show own records Determines whether Stream records created by the current user are displayed in the list.

System Default Dashboard

The System Default Dashboard is will be applied to all new Users. To create of change the System Default Dashboard:

  • Select Administration → User Interface from the Menu Button
  • Edit the Dashboard Layout as necessary
  • Click the Save button

Note

Portal Users will not use this Dashboard as their default


Dashboard Templates

Administrators can create Dashboard Templates to deploy a specific dashboard layout to multiple users. It allows the ability of all users in a team to have one similar dashboard.

Portal Dashboard

Portal Users can be assigned to specific Dashboards from the Dashboard Templates. Refer to Dashboard for Layout for Portal Users for further details
