Forgot Password

Users who forget their password can reset it themselves—no need to contact a System Administrator.

System Administrators

System Administrators can disable password recovery which removes the Forgot Password link from the login page.

How to Reset a Forgotten Password

  1. From the Mythradon login page, click the Forgot Password link.

  1. A prompt will appear asking for the Username and Email Address associated with the account.

Password Change Request Dialog

  1. If the entered information matches an existing user record, the system will send a secure, one-time password reset link to the provided email address.

  2. The user can then follow the link to create a new password and regain access to the system.

Active Status Required

Only users marked as Active are eligible to reset their password via this process.
If the account is inactive, the system will display an error message, and no email will be sent.

Email Template Used

The Forgot Password process uses the Password Change Link template to generate the email message.

Administrator Configuration Options

System Administrators can control various aspects of the Forgot Password process under:

  • Administration → Authentication
