Dynamic Forms¶
Field Behaviour¶
The dynamic behaviour of forms is controlled using the Dynamic Logic feature, available for all fields and Detail Layout Panels. You can configure field-level settings in the Entity Manager when creating or editing a field.
Field-level Dynamic Logic allows you to define rules that automatically adjust how fields behave based on changes in form data. These rules can control whether a field is:
- Visible – shown or hidden
- Required – mandatory or optional
- Read-only – editable or locked
- Option-driven – determines which options are available for selection (applicable to Enum, Array, Multi-Enum, and Checklist fields)
For fields with selectable options, you can define multiple sets of options, each activated by specific conditions. The order in which these option sets are listed is important and determines how they are applied.
All field-level dynamic logic is configured through an intuitive user interface—no coding required.

Panel Behaviour¶
Dynamic logic is also supported for panels within a form layout, including Detail Panels, Side Panels, and Bottom Panels. This allows you to tailor the form layout dynamically based on the data being entered or viewed.
Panel-level dynamic features include:
- Visibility Conditions – control whether a panel is shown or hidden based on form data
- Style Conditions – apply custom styling to a panel when specific conditions are met
These settings are configured in the Layout Manager, using the same no-code, condition-based approach as fields.
