Searching in Mythradon

We've all been there—trying to locate a specific piece of information like a person's address or a company's contact details, only to get lost in a sea of records, clutter, and frustration.

To help you find what you're looking for quickly and efficiently, Mythradon offers two powerful search tools designed to streamline the process:

Let's explore how each of these options can help you search smarter, not harder.

Global Search is the fastest and most convenient way to find information in Mythradon. It allows you to search across multiple entity types simultaneously—saving you time and effort.

To use Global Search:

  1. Type the keyword or phrase you're looking for into the search bar.
  2. Click the Search button.
  3. View the consolidated results, categorised by entity type.

Each result is labeled with its corresponding entity type (e.g., Contact, Account, Case), so you can easily understand the context. Simply click a result to jump directly to the relevant record.

Whether you're tracking down a customer, locating a case, or referencing a contract, Global Search helps you get there faster.

Record List Filter

When you are looking for information about a specific entity type (Account, Contact, Lead etc.), this search type is extremely useful and handy.

Simply navigate to the specific entity that you wish to search. This will display the Home Page for the selected entity. Each entity home page has a record list filter at the top of the page.

Simply type the text you want to find into the filter field and press search. The results will be displayed as a list below the filter field.

Record List Filters have some great functionality that is not available in the Global Search such as creating a filter criteria.

Click the to the right of the Record List Filter field.

From here you can select a field from the current entity. In this example we will select the Type field.

Account Record List Filter Criteria Type = Reseller - Light Account Record List Filter Criteria Type = Reseller - Dark

Note

The filter criteria can be constructed using multiple fields as per the following example:

Account Record List Filter Criteria - Light Account Record List Filter Criteria - Dark

  1. There is a logical AND performed against all the individual filter fields
  2. There is a logical OR performed against all the individual values selected for a single field.

The example above would equate to:

TYPE = 'Reseller' AND (Industry = 'Bicycle Manufacturing' OR 'Advertising')

Applying the Filter

To execute or apply the filter simply press the search button

Apply Filter Criteria - Light Apply Filter Criteria - Dark

Cancel the Filter

To cancel or clear the filter simply press the 'X' button

Cancel Filter Criteria - Light Cancel Filter Criteria - Dark

Note

Your filter is maintained when you navigate away from the entity or drill into a record. So the next time you return to the Entity Home Page your filter criteria will still be active.

Save the Filter

One very useful feature in Mythradon is the ability to save a filter so you can quickly use it again in the future. Firstly create your filter criteria. Click the button to the left of the Filter Search Field and select Save Filter as shown below:
