Installing Zoom Workplace¶
To enable phone calling capabilities within the Mythradon platform using Zoom Workplace, you'll need two things:
- A valid Zoom account
- The Zoom Workplace application installed on your computer

The Mythradon Zoom Workplace Integration app is available as a separate add-on and requires a separate license. Once licensed, Mythradon will install the Zoom Workplace Integration app in your environment.
Step 1: Download Zoom Workplace¶
Zoom Workplace is a desktop application available for free from the Zoom Download Center.

- Select the appropriate version for your operating system (Windows or macOS)
- Download and run the installer

After installation, you should see a confirmation screen similar to the following:

Step 2: Launch Zoom Workplace and Configure Permissions¶
When you launch Zoom Workplace for the first time, you'll be prompted to grant permissions.
Call Control Access¶
You'll be asked how long Zoom Phone Embed should be allowed to manage call controls:

We recommend selecting "Always" to avoid repeated prompts, but this can be changed later in Zoom Workplace settings.
Microphone Access (Windows)¶
You may also be prompted to grant microphone access. On Windows, you'll see a screen like this:

Click Open Windows settings, then:
- In the settings window, select Microphone from the left menu
- Scroll down to the
Allow apps to access your microphonesection - Toggle this setting to On

Step 3: Sign In¶
Launch Zoom Workplace and sign in with your Zoom account credentials.

Once signed in, you're ready to start using Zoom Workplace to make and receive calls directly from within Mythradon.

The steps outlined above are provided as a general guide. The Zoom Workplace application is maintained by Zoom and may change over time, outside of Mythradon's control.
Setup Zoom Phone in Mythradon¶
To finalise the integration, Zoom Phone must be enabled within Mythradon. This one-time setup must be completed by a platform administrator.
- Select
Administration → Integrationfrom the Menu Button - Select Zoom to open the Zoom integration settings

- Toggle
Enabled - In the
Zoom Typedropdown, select Zoom Phone - Click
Saveto apply your changes
Once saved, Zoom Phone functionality will be active and available to users across your Mythradon platform.
Configuring User Roles for Zoom Phone Access¶
To enable Zoom Phone functionality for a user, their assigned Role must grant Create access to the Call entity. Without this permission, the Zoom Phone features will not be available to the user within the system.
The images below illustrate the required role configuration:

Make sure each relevant role includes this access to ensure a smooth experience for users interacting with Zoom Phone.
