Notifications¶

Mythradon offers a flexible and powerful notification system to keep users updated through both In-app and Email channels. Notifications alert users to assignments, Stream updates, mentions, and more—improving communication and responsiveness across the system.

Accessing Notification Settings¶

To manage system-wide notification preferences:

Navigate to Administration → Notifications from the Menu Button

In-app Notifications¶

In-app Notifications appear in the Notification Centre and are triggered by user-relevant events such as record assignments and Stream activity.

In-app Notification Properties¶

Property	Description
Entities to notify about upon assignment	Defines which Entities will generate In-app notifications when a record is assigned. These notifications appear in the Notification Centre and may also trigger Push Notifications.
Display new notification number in page title	Controls whether the number of unread notifications is shown in the browser tab title for visual attention.

Email Notifications¶

Email Notifications automatically inform users of important activity via email, including assignments, mentions, and Stream updates. These messages are especially useful when users are not actively logged into the system.

Email Notification Properties¶

Property	Description
Notifications upon assignment	Enables or disables email notifications when a user is assigned a record.
Assignment email notifications scopes	Specifies which Entities support assignment-based email notifications.
Send email notifications about mentions in posts	Sends an email to users when they are mentioned in a Stream post using `@username`.
Notifications about updates in Stream for internal users	Internal users receive email alerts for Stream activity on followed records.
Notifications about updates in Stream for portal users	Portal users receive email alerts for Stream activity on followed records.
Stream email notifications scopes	Specifies which Entity Types will generate email notifications for Stream updates on followed records.
What to notify about	Defines the types of activity that generate email alerts: Posts Status Updates Received Emails
Delay of email notifications (in seconds)	Allows a buffer window (in seconds) for editing posts before the email notification is sent—minimising premature or unnecessary alerts.

Email notification templates can be customised using the Mythradon Template Manager.
